This can help to raise awareness of the problem and provide nurses with the skills and knowledge to identify and respond to lateral violence (Crawford et al., 2019). Another way to address lateral violence is to create a zero-tolerance policy. This can send a strong message that lateral violence will not be tolerated in the workplace and can help to create a safer and more positive work environment.
