Part II: A tool that we use a lot here at work is Microsoft Teams. When the pandemic hit, we all were required to quickly learn how to use Teams as prior to that it was not really prevalent in our day-to-day operations. Since the pandemic, it has become the main source of communication and collaboration. We have used Teams in a variety of ways. On the Teams channel we create different "teams" to post updates, birthdays, congratulations, and more. We are also able to store files under the teams so that all team members can have access to the files at any given time. These files can also be updated by any of the team members and still remain in one central location for access. All of our meetings still have a teams option to be able to connect with both people who are working onsite and those who are either remote or teleworking. I think that Teams is a great way to increase interaction with team members and keep information in a central location for collaboration on different initiatives.

I think that words carry more weight then sometimes society says they do. I think that individuals who carelessly use words and make false accusations against people should be held responsible. However, I do not think it is the place of Twitter or Facebook to be held responsible for what someone else says. This is just letting the person who actually said the words get off pretty easy. By placing the blame on the social media sites and/or the businesses that the individual works for, the blame is shifted from the actual person to the entity that did not force that person to make the statements. I do think that if it is done on company time that the company should have the right to place consequences on that individual. When you are on company time you should be doing work for the company and not other things. I do think that the lawsuits have merit in some cases. Now if someone is being made fun of because of something they have worn or said or something along those lines, I think that would be hard to prove any kind of ill intent and therefore would be difficult to have a lawsuit against. But for those cases where someone is labeling someone something that could damage their reputation, job, or something else- something founded to be untrue then I think that individual could have reason to file a lawsuit and have merit to win. Just because you do not agree with someone does not mean that you can just say whatever you want. Words have consequences and lasting effects. You never know what someone is going through, so wouldn't it be better to just use our words to uplift others instead of taking every opportunity to tear them down. Just my thought!

I believe that financial and managerial accounting are both essential for smarter decision-making and effective strategic planning. While managerial accounting may directly and visibly make an impact on organizational decisions, oftentimes these decisions can not be made without the support of financial accounting. That is because managerial accounting primarily emphasizes the collection and use of data at an internal level. This data is often unique to the individual organization and is contained to apply to managers in order to drive future profits. Financial accounting provides the means to develop and initiate strategic business plans by collecting data to share with external parties such as investors or creditors. The data obtained through financial accounting help instill confidence in these external parties that their business initiatves are profitable investments for them - securing essential funds for growth and business projects.

Yes, both job order costing and process costing are required to accurately reflect product costs.

According to research, job order costing is utilized to analyze the expenses associated with a single job order (Javed, 2022). An example of this would be if a company were to receive an order for a special product. Management would review the order to analyze the cost of producing and shipping it to the customer in order to determine the amount of cost to acquire from the customer in order to get a return on their investment.

In the research from Javed (2022), process costing is utilized to determine the expenses incurred by the full production line of a product. A good example of this is the cost incurred by a toy company to produce a new baby doll or action figure. These costs are then used to help make the decision as to what the product will cost the consumer once it is released.
