What are the computer software applications and concepts I should know?

This assignment helps you apply your knowledge from this week’s modules and readings.

Employers expect their employees to be knowledgeable and confident when using technology during their daily routines. Most likely, you will use both Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office throughout your healthcare career.


Saving Documents
It’s important to understand MS Windows files and folders. Saving, finding, and attaching documents is a skill you will use almost daily in an office setting.


  1. Save this document with the title Lastname_Firstname_Assignment 1 using your own name. (note: be sure to save this file in a folder where you can find it)

Technology Terminology
Knowledge of some basic technology terms will help you develop your digital literacy skills. Don’t forget to answer questions 3 and 4 a,b,c at the bottom of the worksheet.
