W e R' Write also belongs to The Pen Makers Society of America. This society has numerous lobbyists in W ashington, DC, attempting to get a bill passed that would provide subsidies for the nearly 50 pen makers in the United States for making pens. These subsidies will be paid by adding an additional $0.25 on to every school lunch provided in public schools across the United States. However , the National Parent Teachers Association (National PT A) also has lobbyists in W ashington, DC, who are trying to block this bill. Question 8 12.5 Points Teachers at the local school have contacted the company W e R' Write with a complaint. Teachers noticed that when W e R' W rite sold individual pencils, students made sure to take care of the pencils. However , when the company started selling larger packages of pencils, students started needlessly breaking their pencils, using them for purposes other than doing school work, or even just throwing them away.
