Isabella,

Furthermore, regarding my dream job, I am still figuring out what that looks like for me. I do share a particular interest in the fields of mental health, pediatrics, and OB. There are also some attributes that I do wish to have in a job. For example, I would love for the job that I pursue to be able to be flexible in terms of scheduling. As a mom of a two-year-old, this is essential to me. In addition, I would ideally want to work in an environment that is encouraging and supportive. Being a nurse, you are constantly learning and may need supportive co-workers to lean on when you are not very knowledgeable on a specific task, etc. Furthermore, Tuition reimbursement and loan forgiveness would be something I would love to have. I am planning on pursuing my DNP, and do have some student loans from my BSN degree. Finally, my dream job must offer good health insurance. This is something that is of high importance especially while having a child.

Concerning the P.R.I.C.E model, I would mostly hope for my employer to be respectful and caring. Respect is essential to a healthy employer-employee relationship (Neddersen, n.d.). If respect is not present in a relationship, not much positive progress in the workplace can be made. Subsequently, it is important to me for my employer to be caring (Nedderson, n.d.). For example, I need my employer to care about my family life and to allow flexibility in that regard. My family will always come before my job. In terms of what I would bring to a job. I like to think that integrity is of utmost importance for a job - employers want consistent employees (Nedderson, n.d.). I will demonstrate consistency, and reliability in my jobs.

Andrea,

Regarding my professional goals, I have two choices for my career aspirations. One option is to pursue a career as a wound nurse, and the second option is to become a NICU nurse. Specialized knowledge is necessary for all professions, and I understand how important it is to be knowledgeable in both areas. “You may be looking for a position that is directly related to your education or degree, or you may be looking to change careers either way, if a specific degree or education requirement is important or required for your desired position, this is an important factor “(Hinds, 2021). In terms of working environments, I am amenable to working remotely or on-site, and I think it's great to have access to gym memberships. Further incentives that would be especially helpful to me are the possibility of hiring bonuses and tuition assistance for earning a BSN degree. Finally, when I think about a work environment, I give top priority to a setting that encourages hard work and receives support from higher up.

I hope to join a team who shows respect and integrity. I look for chances for professional growth because I think this encourages a caring and happy environment. Regarding how to contribute to the working environment I would like to promote professionalism and engagement. This to me is important because if you encourage others and feel appreciated this will increase productivity and satisfaction in addition to improving good teamwork.
