Summary: Operation Management Plan for an Online Tutoring Service

The term project suggests a plan for operational management development in an online tutoring service. This service intends to offer educational support to students across different subjects and grades. The business model underscores the use of technology, delivering an effortless impactful learning experience for students exclusively through web services. The company aims to operate as a small or medium-sized enterprise targeting local and regional markets; it may consider global expansion in future phases. Several key components are essential for the successful functioning of the online tutoring service, all of which fall under the operation management plan (Susanto & Sawitri, 2022). The plan first addresses our business's nature: delivering educational services over the Internet. To facilitate interactions between tutors and students thus ensuring effective knowledge transfer we employ virtual platforms and digital tools; this is a necessity in fostering optimal learning outcomes.

One must consider inventory management as a crucial, albeit non-traditional element. Despite the absence of physical inventory in its traditional context, it remains imperative to manage digital resources educational materials, lesson plans, and digital platforms specifically for ensuring uninterrupted service delivery and enhancing customer satisfaction. An online tutoring service's purchasing procedures actively acquire essential resources: software licenses, educational materials, and technological infrastructure (Slack et al., 2013). Through partnerships with educational content providers along with software vendors and technology suppliers, the service ensures high-quality resource access for both tutors and students alike.

Maintaining the standard of educational services offered by online tutoring services necessitates imperative quality control measures: assessing tutors' qualifications and expertise; monitoring teaching method effectiveness, and soliciting student feedback for continuous improvement in learning experiences (Chatterjee et al., 2020). Optimizing processes and enhancing collaboration with suppliers and partners stand as the focal goals of supply chain management. It aims to ensure timely access to resources, support sustainable growth, and may require integrating global strategies to capitalize on opportunities for expansion into international markets while mitigating associated risks. The operation management plan actively addresses sustainability practices and environmental concerns: it advocates with fervor, might I add for the adoption of eco-friendly technologies; its primary objective is to minimize nay, obliterate the ecological footprint imposed by business operations.
