Department of Mental Health Hiring Process Evaluate the efficacy of your process using improvement techniques. Write your evaluation below this line: Based on my evaluation the hiring process needs improvements made to stay competitive and make positive, but necessary changes in the Management of this methodology.

Determine how the process can be improved based on the results of your evaluation. If changes are made promptly to the hiring process, and if more Recruiters are added the process can be expedited much quicker.

The Hiring Process as it is now is not up to par. It takes too long to create a requisition which is the bottleneck, to get an interview, candidates are being interviewed at different places, and management takes too long to make a job offer to selected persons. However, these weak factors can be improved with PDCA improvement process plan. This plan includes identifying weak areas and turning those sections into positive strengths. I think that the process will be good for the future because it will speed up the hiring process without losing good candidates because of waiting times. When processes are done on time, people are happy then it makes morale go up in the workplace. When there are not enough workers in the work culture people tend to get overworked and burned out. Even if the metrics take time to get to a satisfactory point of maybe seven on a scale of one to ten that would be a great improvement. We want to look into why it is taking too long to approve a requisition and get that down to at least two weeks. Once the bottleneck is identified the process can be a smoother transition (Cashon & Terwiesch, 2023). Improvement plans such as hiring more Recruitments and setting time limits for these steps in the process. Taking metrics and measurements would also play a key role in making sure that results are fulfilled and then changes can be implemented to allow the process to run smoothly.
