-Questions-You uploaded just the demographic questions. If you are conducting quantitative research you will also need to inlclude a hypothesis and null hypothesis for each approved research question
EXAMPLE OF THREE HYPOTHESES
Hypothesis: Civilians will be less satisfied with their health care than active duty military members or veterans.
Alternative Hypothesis: Civilians will be more satisfied with their health care than active duty military members and veterans.
Null: There will be no differences in healthcare satisfaction between civilians and active duty military members and veterans.
SAMPLE PROPOSED METHODOLOGY FOR IRB APPLICATION:
PROPOSED METHOD
This descriptive study uses a quantitative design with a student-designed survey to gather primary data from civilian and veteran populations. The survey includes all the information required for informed consent. The writer plans to use Survey Monkey, email, and Facebook to contact co-workers, friends, family members and classmates, asking for volunteers to complete the surveys. The purpose of the research is understanding the underlying factors that affect healthcare satisfaction among civilians and military members. One hundred individuals will be contacted to voluntarily complete surveys regarding their satisfaction with their current healthcare. The researcher will recruit adults only over 18, who are not in a vulnerable population, for the study.
The researcher will input the collected data into a master Excel spreadsheet, assigning each survey a number matching the corresponding row number in the master spreadsheet, then checking each hard copy survey to each row. The researcher will use three separate chi-square analyses to test correlations between the independent (active duty military members or veterans and civilians) and dependent ( level of healthcare satisfaction) variables using the data collected from the surveys.
