Issue of food insecurity in Canada

In my essay, I will consider the problem of food insecurity as the key concern of Canada and reveal how climate change as well as inequality in the economic rights affect this issue. (Tarasuk & Mitchell 2020). The problem of food insecurity, which affects millions of Canadians, intersects with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals including Goal 2: Specifically, Zero Hunger and SDG 13: Climate Action. Weather change associated with climate change has become a threat to food security especially to vulnerable persons as it affects food production coupled with the distribution systems. My thesis proposes that food insecurity in Canada must be solved on the individual level, the community level, the policy level, and the commercial level. (Singh et al. 2023). Using the analysis of modern government actions and communities’ efforts in this and other similar cases, this essay will show that it is possible to continue the successful search for sustainable solutions to various problems at the local, national, and global levels. The essay will also stress the topical issue of social and environmental justice to the question of food insecurity it is impossible to predict and solve the problem without referring to such crucial factors as the distribution of wealth and environmental problems. (Wood et al. 2021).
