Milestone 1 - Information System Principles
As you've learned in this module, information systems exist all around us. Nearly everything electronic that we touch is a complex system made up of hardware, software, and databases, brought to our screens through a series of networks.
For this milestone, select an application that you use -- it can be anything from a social media application, to a system you use at work, and research how it functions. Your response to this should include:
What hardware components are involved in the system? (Think end-to-end, from the business hosting the system to you as a user of it!)
What software is involved in the system?
Provide an example of a database involved in the system.
How are you as a user able to interact with the system?
If you cannot find reliable information regarding the system/application you choose, speculate what technologies might be in use and give your justification as to why.
Then, discuss any privacy and security as it pertains to your chosen system. Do users of the system you chose have to be worried about their security? If so, why? What about the managers of the system you chose?
Your submission should be 750-1200 words and follow APA 7 formatting guidelines for student papers.
