Now that you have identified a coping strategy and relaxation technique to focus on and you have identified several stressors to address, in 2–3 sentences, explain why your selected strategy and technique appeal to you. Include supporting evidence.


Healthy balance strategy and exercise and nutrition relaxation techniques appeal to me because of the stressors that I have. Work, life, parenting, and health concerns are all major stressors in my life. Trying to balance them all at once is difficult, but manageable.



Provide a brief description of how you plan to use the coping strategy and relaxation technique. Include supporting evidence. This description can be as simple as the following examples:

“I will use journal writing on a daily basis over the next five weeks” or “I will use some of the techniques listed for Art Therapy each week over the next five weeks."

To manage my stressors I plan to begin eating healthier. No more fast food, junk food, or soda. I have started to meal prep at home for my lunches at work. I have started to do grocery pick up to help maintain the meal preparation as I dislike going into the grocery store. I will start going on walks with my family as a form of exercise and plan to build up from there.
