Hi,
Honestly, and I know this feels a little strange coming from me, but there is a lot of flexibility in how these papers look! It might make sense to start your paper with a general description of your internship, the name and mission of the organization, and your tasks there, but then you could either integrate your articles with course concepts or clump them together. It will depend on whether there are themes that emerge and I will probably be more helpful after I look at your journals.
But we can chat more on Tuesday!
Requirements for the Research Paper
Research papers should be complete APA-style papers including: title page, abstract, introduction, method, results, discussion, and references. Internship papers will use different headings. I will provide guidance on how to structure Internship papers because it may vary from student to student.
Reference requirements for all papers: First, you must use all of the references in your reference section for them to count. • Please include at least 15 peer-reviewed sources from either journals or chapters from edited volumes. You should provide some method and results details on some of these articles, but generally, you will be using your articles to make an argument. For research papers, keep in mind that some of your sources should be used in the discussion section to explain how your results fit in with the results of other articles. Again, internship papers may make substantial departures from the traditional structure of APA-style research papers, but these papers are still required to include at least 15 journal articles/chapters. Please make sure your article hyperlinks work so I can look at your sources.
