For this assignment, you will develop a cost optimization plan for a provided cloud environment scenario. The scenario includes resource utilization metrics, current costs, and business requirements.

Your plan should include:

  • Analysis of current resource utilization and identification of inefficiencies

  • Recommended cost optimization strategies with projected savings

  • Implementation plan for recommended optimizations

  • Performance monitoring framework to ensure optimizations do not negatively impact performance

  • ROI analysis for your recommendations

Business Scenario: A mid-sized e-commerce company is experiencing rapidly increasing cloud costs as their business grows. Their current monthly cloud spending has increased 150% over the past year, but revenue has only increased 75%. They need to optimize costs while maintaining performance during peak shopping periods.
