Create a Jupyter notebook containing a title of “Exam 1”, your name, and the course CPSMA 4313. Load
any libraries you will use in a code block at the beginning. You may use LLM (eg. ChatGPT, Claude, etc ) for coding.
All comments should be created by you and should directly address the graphic you have created. If you give overly broad
answers that do not address specifics your visualization show, you will forfeit the points for that graphic. You may not share code with classmates. You may not get code from others that is not referenced. At the bottom of
your references include the following statement. “I attest that the resources above were the only ones utilized in completing
the exam and the work included is my own and no one else from the course.” Be certain to comment on what you are doing and what you have found when you run your code. Make comments on
the coding and the output to express your understanding of what is going on with each piece.
1.Gather the data from the 2022 World Cup provided on Kaggle and provided in the github repo for this course. The link is provided here https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nurfnick/Data Sets For Stats/refs/heads/master/CuratedDataSets/2022WorldCupPlayers.csv
with some data cleaning done for you. I have used ‘quotes’ when discussing a column in the dataset. Every visualization
should include, title, labels, appropriate coloring, and comments about the visualization and what it says about the data.
(a)(10 points) Store the data as a pandas dataframe. Find your favorite ‘club’ or ‘nationality’ (that is present in the data!), include a picture that represents them and include it in your notebook. (If no favorite, just pick one!)
(b)(10 points) Create a histogram of the ‘Goals’. (c)(10 points) Create a histogram of the ‘Goals’ and ‘Assists’ on the same axis.
(d)(10 points) Create a boxplot of ‘Yel’ (yellow cards) by nationality. (e)(10 points) Create ‘Goals’ and ‘Assists’ as scatter. Signify your favorite club or nationality in some way on the scatterplot. You may need to add a new column to the dataset to do so.
(f )(10 points) Create a new visualization that I have not asked for. It can be anything but you should be creative.
