The purpose of this assignment is to introduce students to the differences between federal and state legal systems as well as how this applies to their job. This allows students to take these concepts and see how they can be used in what they do and how they perform in their current or perspective careers. This also incorporates the use of non-judicial alternative dispute resolution (ADR) options.
