In EDUC 7001, you will complete this ILP and responded to first four questions under each Professional Disposition (Learning Outcome #10) and AECT Standard. Your responses should be thoughtful and provide specific examples to document your knowledge, skills and dispositions. You will upload the ILP to your ePortfolio in Transition Point 2 so that you can reference it again at the end of your program.

In EDUC 7900, at the end of your program during your capstone course, you will revisit your original reflection to see how far you have come on meeting your goals by completing the last two rows for each disposition and AECT standard. Disposition A. The educator understands the central concepts, tools of inquiry, and structures of the discipline(s) and can create learning experiences based on best practices that make these aspects of subject matter meaningful for students.

I really feel good about this disposition. I am a team player. At my school we don’t have substitute’s teachers so my department watch the kids that don’t have a teacher. We do this and never complain and we don’t get paid anything extra. I did meet my goal on this disposition. I did exceed this goal. I did not miss this goal.

I am a very good place when it comes to this disposition. I listen to my students and I allow them to come and talk to me anytime they need to. I definitely meet this disposition. I feel that I have meet this goal with flying colors. I did not miss this goal.

I feel that I am right where I said I would be at this point. I always value and appreciate the importance of all aspects of my students. I try to make sure that all my students are in a safe environment and I am always there to listen to them with their problems. We as teacher have weekly meeting to discuss how we can improve the students learning environment. I meet my goals for this disposition. I don’t know if I exceeded but I know that my students are learning and they really appreciate what I do for them. I feel like I did not miss this goal.

5.3 Formative and Summative Evaluation - “Formative evaluation involves gathering information on adequacy and using this information as a basis for further development. Summative evaluation involves gathering information on adequacy and using this information to make decisions about utilization” (Seels & Richey, 1994, p. 57);

5.4 Long-Range Planning - Long-range planning that focuses on the organization as a whole is strategic planning....Long-range is usually defined as a future period of about three to five years or longer. During strategic planning, managers are trying to decide in the present what must be done to ensure organizational success in the future.” (Certo et al., 1990, p. 168).
