Project Activities and Sequencing Scenario

SCENARIO: TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR EMPLOYEES.

In this scenario, the for-profit university provides a training program for staff to counter the rules and regulations against the traditional sales bonuses upon enrolment of students. These courses aim at developing the skills and knowledge of the employees by offering a series of continuous career development and growth initiatives so as to act as an effective motivating factor. 75 most experienced employees to be prioritized in advanced career development, other 112 who have been in the university enrollment department to be expanded knowledge wise through the program. Both are to get some recreational moments at the end of training. The project aims at boosting the employees' morale that has been recorded as declining.

THE SCOPE OF THE PROJECT.

The project should be finalized within a period of one month to get the entire employees morale back to speed and with a greater margin of satisfaction. The project will require a separate budget line so as to work with to cover the cost of the training process, facilities and material and labor resources needed to make the project effective. Among the expenses would be the experts' costs, housing costs, side job allowances, etc.

THE NEED OF THE STAKEHOLDERS.

As per our scenario, the stakeholders are on the lookout for a favorable outcome that would be; having the 187employees motivated and re-energized to perform towards the university's mission, vision, and objectives. The main and only priority that the school stakeholders have is that all appropriate personnel is trained for the proper number of hours for the period for the enhancement of their morale.

Every administrative assistant needs to outline availability to each of the persons requiring training as a motivator.

Every trainer or expert needs to give availability to train the individual employees that have been availed for training.

The methodologies for training should be well informed to the trainees during the session and be in agreement with the senior management needs and overall stakeholders needs.

Among the training tools and techniques are the classrooms or instructor-led training, interactive methods, hand on training such as coaching, apprenticeships, cross-training, etc. and computer based training.

ACTIVITIES, ACTIVITIES ATTRIBUTES, AND MILESTONES FOR THE PROJECT.

The primary input to sequence activities is the training program which includes assessing the training needs by methods of interviewing, accidents and succession plan.

The business attribute would include; the particular persons to be involved in the activity would be trainers/experts, trainees, and the senior management appointees. This activity is to take place indoors and outdoors of the University with a time span of eight hours a day. The total cost for the session is estimated at $ 1000 for full completion and entire facilitation of activities.

The milestones for the project that are highly prioritized are the consent of the senior management to be involved and allow for such training to take place in and outside the premises. Checkpoints and [percentages on the completion of the project, obtaining relevant approvals, monitoring usage of time and resources and signing of contracts among others.
