American Tutor to finish Self Assessment Exercises

Chapter 7 Self-Assessment "Path-Goal Theory" This quiz was one of the more detailed and involved that we have taken, but I feel it was very accurate of myself. My score for directive style was 27, which is considered moderately high. I am not surprised by this because sometimes in a position of leadership I tend to inform people what needs to be done (in the nicest way possible). My score for supportive style was 31 which are also considered moderately high. This definitely did not surprise me because in most areas of my life where I deal with other people, I always try to be supportive so doing it in leadership I would definitely expect. My score for Participative style was a 25 which is considered moderately high as well. My score for achievement- oriented style was a 23 which was listed as high as well. All of my scores didn't surprise me because I try to be well rounded in all that I do, and I think being well rounded in leadership is very important to be successful. During this chapter in our textbook, my group and class were educated on the topic of Authentic Leadership. After completing the self-assessment questionnaire, I confirmed much of what I already knew about myself, in regard to authenticity in leadership. My highest section score was in Balanced Processing with a total of 13 points, and my lowest section score was in relational transparency with a score of 13. My overall score (Authentic Leadership) was 58, which is considered a high score. I have always considered myself to be fair and give subordinates a fair chance in the workplace. I often explore others' viewpoints to be certain mine is justified. I am definitely not surprised at my lower score in relational transparency. I am typically a more reserved individual and keep my core feelings about many things to myself- something I should probably improve.
