In this speech you will present an informative speech (think of it as teaching) to your audience of at least 4-6 adults about your topic of choice. THIS MUST BE A RESEARCHABLE TOPIC AND CANNOT BE A DEMONSTRATION SPEECH UNLESS IT’S RESEARCHABLE!!! PERSONAL EXPERIENCE ALONE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! SPEECHES WITH LESS THAN 4 AUDIENCE MEMBERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!!! Remember the goal is to INFORM, not to PERSUADE. Be sure you use one of the informative organizational formats for your outline and Identify which format you are using:    Topical OR Chronological OR Spatial During the presentation of your speech, proper reference (verbal citations) of your sources should be made at each main point (at minimum). This speech must be no less than 4 minutes and no more than 6 minutes long so keep this in mind as you write your outline. To receive credit for this speech, you must pan your audience once during your speech so I can see that they are present and watching. THE AUDIENCE SHOULD PAY ATTENTION AND THERE SHOULD BE NO ANNOYING NOISES AND DISTRACTIONS! You must position the camera in a way that you are facing both your AUDIENCE and the camera. Presenting to the audience is the most important thing to consider. No editing is allowed. In order to receive any credit for your outline, it MUST have a works cited section, use credible sources and be completed in APA or MLA style.
