The organization needs to invest in a smartphone. This is a product that is a necessity in the modern environment and it is important for the organization to invest in it. Organizations need to invest in products whose demand is high or is expected to rise (Jones, 2009). With respect to the current business environment, organizations should invest in the smartphone market because the demand for this product is growing across the globe. The smartphone is a product that has found its way into people’s lives because of its many uses apart from just making calls and messages. It is a product that is in demand even though the market is very competitive. To find a piece of the market share, it is necessary for the organization to take into consideration necessary concepts to come up with a product that will enter the market.

Main Characteristics

A product needs to have various characteristics for it to find its way into the market. In this case, the organization needs to pay attention to the characteristics that will make the smartphone the people’s choice. One of the characteristics of the product is high-quality. This is a characteristic that can enable the organization in finding a market for its new product. The smartphone is made of a high-speed processor that enables it to process many applications simultaneously and at a high speed. In addition to this, it has a high-resolution camera that enables the users to take high-quality photographs and videos. To make the product even better, it is powered by a long-lasting battery that allows it to be used for a long time without being recharged.

The smartphone also come along with a variety of features that enable the users to carry out various tasks conveniently. In the modern society, people are interested in saving time as well as making work easier. The smartphone will be preinstalled with a wide variety of applications that will make it possible for the users to perform different activities and operations in their hands. For instance, the smartphone is internet enabled and is preinstalled with a high-speed internet browser that enables the users to easily surf the internet. When a business chooses to invest in a product, it needs to ensure that the product is equipped with all the basic features as well as additional ones that will enable it to meet the expectations and the needs of the potential customers in the market (Taylor, 2005). Through this, it will be possible to create a market for the product.

Why the product is worthwhile

The product is worthwhile because it is one of the items that are in demand in the modern world. Technology is at the center of everything and everyone wants a product that embraces the idea. It is worth investing in the smartphone and to make sure that it is equipped with features that will make it outstanding in the market. It should also be made using the latest technology for the interest of making sure that the market has a reason for choosing it over competitors. The product will enable the business to boost its customer base as well as its revenues because it is expected to have large sales volume. While launching new products in the market, businesses need to make use of the most effective strategies to realize returns on investment.

Audiences

There are two basic audiences in this case; the management team and the potential customers. They are important stakeholders in this scenario and they need to be handled in the right manner for success to be realized. An organization should be able to correctly treat its stakeholders for the interest of survival in the market (Taylor, 2005). It is necessary to understand each stakeholder to know how well to deal with them. For instance, the management team should be convinced that the product is worth being invested into. In the like manner, the interests of the customers should be kept into consideration because they are the final consumers of the product. They should be convinced that the product will meet their expectations as well as needs in a better manner as compared to competitors.

The Importance of the Audiences

The audience is important because they play an active role in determining whether the product will be successful in the market. The management team, for instance, is responsible for making strategic decisions with respect to what the business should invest in. This is of great importance given the extent to which it can affect the investment that the business puts its money in. The management team determines how much financial and other resources should be set aside for the success of the investment. Similarly, customers are important because their behavior determines how much a business can make from an investment. Taking this into consideration, the product developed should be able to serve customers in a manner that will surpass their expectations. This will make them satisfied and it is a guaranteed that the product will be successful in the market.


How to approach each audience

In business, communication plays a very important role because it determines how messages are delivered from end to another. It is important to understand that different audiences should be reached through different approaches. The approach is determined by the type of message that should be delivered. The management team should be reached through a meeting because this is official communication (Sehgal, 2008). A meeting should be called and relevant managers from different departments of the organization should attend it. Through this approach, it is possible for the message to be delivered in the most effective and efficient manner. Potential customers, on the other hand, should be reached through media such as television and the internet. Given the fact that they are many, it is necessary to use an approach that is effective in terms of reaching a large audience.

Establishment of credibility

Credibility is about trustworthiness. Trust is very necessary for business because it plays a role in creating a relationship between the business and its stakeholders. It is important to create this valuable aspect of the management as well as the customers and all other stakeholders of the business. With the management of the organization, credibility can only be achieved if there is honestly especially in terms what the communication is about. The agenda of the meeting should have realistic elements that will win the trust of the management. With respect to the customers, credibility is established by aligning the messages in marketing with the features of the product. Customers should be able to find all the features that they expect to be on the product. This will build the trust between them and the business.

The selection of the channel

A channel is basically the route that a message follows for it to be delivered to the right audience. Keeping this in mind, it is necessary to select a channel that will provide the best delivery. In this case, the channels selected were the best given the type of message to be delivered as well as the audiences. For instance, a formal meeting was used to communicate to the management team because the members are fewer and the information is strategic. Through such a channel, it is possible to ask questions so that clarification is done. On the other hand, television and internet were used to communicate with customers because these channels can reach many people in a considerably short period of time. In addition to this, it is a majorly one-way communication, therefore, the channel was selected because it is appropriate.

Appropriate channel for delivering the message

Before choosing the most appropriate channel for delivering a message, it is necessary to make various considerations (Ellen & Loewy, 2015). One of the considerations is the context in which the message should be delivered. Secondly, it is necessary to look at the audience because this also determines the most appropriate way to use so that it is reached. Lastly, there needs to be attention on the purpose of the message. In this case, the audience is made of the potential customers that the business should sell the product to. Given the nature of this audience as well as the purpose of the message, the most appropriate channel for communication is mass media and specifically television and the internet.
