Care Resource

The organization that I chose is Care Resource. This program is the largest HIV/ AIDS service organization. These one focused on providing a response to the epidemic with crisis intervention, social support and educational programs. The primary medical care was implemented, creating a system to rapidly and effectively triage those identified as HIV positive into a comprehensive system for medical care and supportive services.

The main objectives of this program is health promotion and prevention to fight against HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), substance abuse and other serious health conditions. The objective is being archived because the staffing is very preparing to provide HIV testing, education, STD screenings and STD education.

This program is a nonprofit organization and until now has stable funding to provide the help that this population needs. “Stable funding is important to the success of most programs. Morale and performance fall when employees do not get paid on a regular basis, or when they are asked to put aside normal duties and engage in las minute fund-raising or grant writing to get the program though several more months. Programs started with “soft money” (grants or nonrecurring funds) often experience high rates of staff turnover until the programs secure some continuity in funding (Royse, David. 2010).”

I chose these organization because is helping more the 50% percent of the population in Miami, Broward and West Palm Beach.  That population that many times is being discriminate. Care Resource objectives plan goals are achieved improving the health and wellbeing of the patients. Promoting the well-being of the patients with HIV and AIDS and decreasing discrimination against this population.
