DDSN 101 - \bAD 1A Assi\fnment 9 –Draw a 3D Mu\f – (75 points possible) Starting with the "Assignment #9 - Start Here" file, create a 3D Mu\f. 1.

Extrude the Exterior \bircle of the Mu\f the correct hei\fht - (3.5") b. Draw a \bircle on the top of your new \bylinder (3D OSnap "Center of Face" helps) i.

Use \fuidelines as needed ii. 3" diameter c.

Use PRESSPULL to “p ress” the \bircle the appropriate depth into the Mu\f i. 3-1/8" down ii. Be certain that you do not click on the circle, you should click inside it. 9.

\breate the Handle a. Turn the outside part of the handle in the Front View into a sin\fle Polyline i. Use JOIN b. Use 3D Ali\fn to move the outer handle from the Front View to the Top View i.Use \fuidelines as needed c. Use 3DROTATE on the Ellipse in the Top View and select the green axis to rotate 90 degrees.

d. Use MOVE on the bottom quadrant of the Ellipse and place it at the lower endpoint of the Polyline from step 9a.

e. Select the Ellipse and use SWEEP, selecting the Polyline from step 9a as your "path".

10. Switch the Visual Style to \bonceptual 11. Use the Base Tool in the \breate View Panel of the Layout Ribbon Tab to generate 4(four) 2D Hidden Line Views of the mu\f in your title block: Top, Front Ri\fht Side and an Isometric. The views must be labeled and the scale (2'-0"=1'-0") of the views must be indicated in the Title Block a. You must b e on a Layout Tab in order to access the Layout Ribbon Tab b. Select the Layout Menu c. Select the scale indicated above 12. Save the \bAD file of your drawin\f in the required format:

a. (\bourse name-number) – (section number) – Assi\fnment #__ - (your name) – (due date) b. Example:

i.\bAD1a - 01 – Francis Freeman - Assi\fnment 98 – Sep 29 13. Plot an ARCH D - 36"x24" Black & White pdf of the Title Block Layout a. no plot settings need to be changed unless you're working on a laptop b. use either the AIA Standard plot style or one of thoes which includes the word "monochrome" to ensure no color in the pdf.

c. leave the pdf name as it appears by default 14. Upload both the .PDF & .DWG to the correct D2L drop box.
