A multiple baseline design was used across 3 adults with no previous training in the implementation of functional communication system to investigate the effects of behavioral skills training on the picture exchange communication system.

2) Nabeyama, B., & Sturmey, P. (2010). Using behavioral skills training to promote safe and correct staff guarding and ambulation distance of students with multiple physical disabilities. Journal of applied behavior analysis, 43(2), 341-345.

The effectiveness of behavioral skills training and self-recording were examined on staff posture and guarding and the distance that students ambulated. The investigation involved 3 staff members and 3 students with physical disabilities.

3) Miles, N. I., & Wilder, D. A. (2009). The effects of behavioral skills training on caregiver implementation of guided compliance. Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, 42(2), 405-410.

The purpose of the author in this article was to evaluate the effect of a behavioral skills training package to rise correct implementation of guided compliance. The participants were consisted of 3 children’ caregivers who displayed noncompliance.

4) Gunby, K. V., Carr, J. E., & LeBlanc, L. A. (2010). Teaching abduction‐prevention skills to children with autism. Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, 43(1), 107-112.

According to this study, abduction-prevention skills to children with autism were taught to 3 males who was diagnosed with autism using behavioral skills training.

Using behavioral skills training, the researchers taught safety skills for 8 children. From those 8, 4 were males and 2 were females. A multiple baseline design was employed.
