VIRUS, THE MAJOR TYPE OF PATHOGENS

I. Introduction

A. Background

B.This paper highlights on viruses, the major type of pathogens. Viruses are very small parasites that are usually smaller than bacteria. Viruses do not thrive outside the body of a host (Wang, Chang & Lee, 2016). However, when they get to the host's body, they become dangerous. They are the main causes of contagion. With the evolution of AIDS and other virus-caused diseases, there have been widespread events of illnesses and deaths. The paper will, therefore, address the leading causes of the virus, their impacts to the general population as well as any research that has been done on viruses before.

II. Viruses pose many effects to people. First, they are the major causes of dangerous diseases that have been proven to have no cure. They cause diseases such as AIDS and Cholera which are deadly. They also cause acute infections which can be dangerous if not treated immediately

Brittnee, you did an excellent job on the outline for the final project. Your choice of pathogen is an interesting one. Please keep in mind that in the next part of this project work (in unit 6) you will need to prepare a list of references for the final project that you will submit in unit 9. Your annotation should include a summary and evaluation of each source. You are to use 5 resources including the course textbook. Best!
