Help with a team project related to operation management

Class Group Project – DUE May 9th 2017

  • Objective

    • To bring together the elements of the class and solidify the understanding so that you can use the information in your careers more effectively

  • Instructions

    • Identify a company where you see gaps, or they are struggling in some manner relative to Operations Management.

 

  • Incorporate elements from class to improve an area you see as lacking. Identify clearly the issue at hand, then generate a solution based on your knowledge gained

 

  • Develop a short abstract on your project

 

  • You will develop a written project (5-7 pages), and a short 20 min presentation

    • Clearly state the current situation

    • Identify the elements in question

    • Formulate a solution based on what you have learned in class

 

  • The project must include at least 2 aspects of these major elements that were discussed in class:

    • Product Life Cycle Optimization

    • Business Process Management

    • Supply Chain Management

    • Product & Process Design
