Introduction

This week you will begin by comparing controlled environments and autonomy supportive environments. You will then create an autonomy supportive environment and give students the potential to make a number of decisions about how they participate in class. Next, you will discuss resources to be used in a physical education classroom to observe, assess, and document children’s progress. You will also reflect on appropriate classroom management systems and develop your own. You will end the week by designing a persuasive presentation to promote children’s health and physical education awareness.
