  1. Does not contribute to improving human health

  1. Animal experimentation in medical advances is questionable.

  2. Diseases that are artificially induced in animals in a laboratory, are never identical to those that occur naturally in human beings.

  1. Find a replacement for animal testing.

  1. Computational Models.

  2. Bioinformatics.

  3. Systems Biology.

  4. In vitro techniques

  5. Tissue engineering.

  6. Microfluidics (organ-on-a-chip).

  7. Stem cell methods.

  8. Epidemiology.

  9. Human tissue studies.

  10. Genetic methods.

  11. Advanced imaging technologies.

  1. Speed up the transition to safer, more humane science by spreading awareness and information regarding more effective, reliable alternatives.

  1. Conclusion

  1. Instead of animal testing, we can use a different methods for testing medicine or products.

  1. The world does not need another perfume, eyeliner, hand soap, food ingredient, or pesticide so badly that it should come at the expense of animals’ lives (PETA, 2011).
