Results of Regression Analysis
Results of Regression Analysis
Regression analysis was used to test the three hypotheses and investigate the relationship between dependent (Customer behavior) and independent variables. The independent variables included the background aspects like ambient conditions, facility aesthetics, equipment, and design of the hotels. Results are depicted below in table 2 and 3:
From the analysis, it is evident that background environmental elements affected customer behavior. The findings can be used to guide hoteliers among other players in the hospitality industry to plan for arousing and pleasant environments within their precincts (Bartikowski, 2014). The regression coefficient proves there are considerable impacts of the hotels’ background especially the public spaces, décor, and interior design on customer loyalty and satisfaction with a p≤ 0.01 as value significance. The different elements in the background for instance, music must be controlled to meet customer preferences to assist them feel relaxed and pleased.
