Job Force Versus To Think Critically Forum Answer

Nowadays, the modern educational systems is playing effective role to not only prepared people for the job force but also enable them to think critically and rationally. In my view, besides providing both functions, the educational system should be more focused on the grounds of teaching students that how to think critically and making decision rationally. It is important because the trend of traditional learning and professional demands have been changed with the present time. Today, almost every field of profession requires more than subject knowledge, but critical thinking skills in individuals, who can be able to solve real world issue arises during their professional life (NEA, 2011).

According to a recent report by the Council for Aid to Education, it is found that about more than 40% of the university seniors didn’t succeed in a white-collar career because of their lacking the complex reasoning skills (Belkin, 2015). This is because skills and demands of job force have been changed considerably in the last 20 years. Today’s job market demands competencies like critical thinking and the skill to work together with people from multi linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

Another reported news article in the wall street journal affirms that critical thinking is a vital skill for young job force in these days. The recruiters demand students seeking job must be having equipped with skills to think critically and making decision rationally (Korn, 2014).

Therefore, it is found that presently critical thinking support to have career success, as well as achievement in higher education. Educating critical thinking and effective problem solving in the classroom is very important for the students to be prepared for the demanding job force. Learning critical thinking drives them to build up other skills, for example increased logical abilities, and improved idea processing, that is helpful elements to be successful in professional life.
