Principles of effective data display

Your tables and charts should:

  1. Have clear titles.

  2. Be simple and well organized.

  3. Provide the source for your data.

In your narrative summary, reference your source, describe in words (simply) the pattern you want to highlight, and provide the quantitative evidence that supports your claim.
