Live Chat for MyCWU

MyCWU is integrated with essential features that make the overall system efficient as it is. However, it could be made even better with an integration of an even robust feature – the live chat. With this feature, MyCWU would provide an engaging environment for all visitors and users of the system. The current system only provides a post-reply feature, where users can comment and reply to comments on posts and timetable events.

The live chat feature is a totally new feature that takes social interactions to the next level. Students can comment, reply, and view chats in real-time. Moreover, a live chat feature assists new visitors in getting replies to their requests in real-time without having to wait for minutes or hours for the administrator to view their requests and reply. Further, with a live chat being in place, a visitor can get to know if any of the system admins is online or offline, thereby allowing one to make a decision whether to stay or check in later.

With all these new possibilities included in the system, it is evident that a live chat would prove to be a very effective and efficient feature to add on to the current MyCWU system.
