CEO Executive Summary

This a report on the research project that was carried out to conduct a comprehensive evaluation on Apple Inc., which is among the top ten in the Fortune 500 companies, and on how it has managed being at the top.

The objective was; to determine Apple Inc.’s corporate strategy and what it has done to have ability to grow its competitive advantage while the research question was - what is Apple Inc.’s corporate strategy and does it have the ability to grow its competitive advantage? On the other hand, the hypothesis was – Apple Inc. has an intensive growth strategy and has the ability to raise its competitive advantage.

This was a quantitative research and was carried out using the systematic reviews research design and the data was collected from surveys, peer reviewed articles and books on the corporate strategy of Apple Inc. and its potential to raise its competitive advantage (Martin, & Hanington, 2012). The research utilized secondary data from other researchers and reliable sources on the library and the internet.

The research findings were identified after the data collected was analyzed which proved that Apple Inc. has an intensive growth strategy and has the ability to raise its competitive advantage using sustainable techniques (Sun, 2015 and Meyer, 2017).
