What struck you in particular as you explored the course materials this week?

The material that I read this week I knew most of it but there were things that I found more interesting since I learned more about. One thing was the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1974 which “Congress created public financing of presidential campaigns to reduce the exchange of campaign donations for political favors” (Barnes & Bowles, 2014, sec. 13.2). Before the current Presiden±al Election and Debates, I do not remember ever hearing of this though I do remember the Watergate Scandal. This election I have been hearing more about this happening or supposedly happening.

What insights have you had?

Just being able to learn as much as possible this week and learning different things that I have never learned before was very insightful for me.

What have you been struggling with?

I did not struggle with anything this week.

What questions have come up for you at this point?

At this time I don't have any questions.

Do you have any helpful tips that you’ve picked up in this course or in a past course?

I would tell my classmates to take your time in your final paper and make sure to read all the requirements carefully to get a full grade.

Do you have questions about the assignment that your classmates might be able to help with? (If you have a question for the instructor, be sure to contact your instructor through email or in the Ask Your Instructor Forum).

At this time I don't have any questions for my classmates.
