This article talks about the life of street children and youth who experience adverse events and trauma in childhood. It mentions that little is known concerning the child welfare system among the vulnerable street children. The study aimed to find out more about the child welfare of the street-involved children in Vancouver Canada. The study was conducted between 2005 and 2012 and at least 937 street children aged 10-22 took part. The findings shows that children and youths who are not under the care of the government child-welfare are at increased risk of antagonistic illicit substance-related behaviors. This article will highly contribute to the research paper because it addresses the key issue of child welfare and the role of the government which is the focus our study.

This article talks about the interventions taken by the German administration to promote child protection. In a study to find out the effectiveness of government-sponsored initiatives to enhance child welfare and health care systems that work towards families with toddlers and infants. Questionnaires were used to find out more from healthcare workers who took part. The results shows that professionals working in the field of child protection have to develop more capacity and skills to discover maternal sensitivity and enhance their abilities to detect families at risk that require help. This article will contribute immensely to the completion of the research paper because it addresses key issues concerning child welfare.

The article looks at the public system service and the obligation of the policymakers in allocating public funds for child welfare. Courtney (2012) reveals that the policymakers and the federal government has shown good faith in defending the rights of the children by providing sufficient funds for the child welfare program of the country. The article will contribute immensely to the completion of this research paper because it looks at the government’s role in enhancing child welfare.

This article aims to find out the awareness of the country concerning the issue of child welfare and child support among the government officials and the civilians. The findings indicate that there is a need for the educators to empower the public more and educate the government on the best approaches to handle child welfare. The article will be equally significant because it talks about the issue that is pertinent to the research paper.

This article looks at the financial year 2014 president’s budget and how it addressed the issue of administration of children and families. The article explains that the FY2014 budget showed massive concern for the economic and social wellbeing of children, people, families, and communities. It clearly indicates that President Obama was more concern about child welfare and thus, the article will contribute to the completion of the research paper.

This article concentrates on girl child who was neglected for the longest time in the past century. It explains a brief history of the previous decades and compares the situation to the current period. The findings indicated that children’s rights are partially addressed in broader political debates and that there is a need for the government and politicians to pay more attention to child welfare in the country. This article addresses the significance of fathers participation in the development of children by examining the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 that was signed by President Bush. The bill aimed to support and promote healthy marriages and responsible fatherhood. A study was conducted two years later to find out whether the bill had improved marriages and promoted fatherhood and results shows that there was a slight improvement in the entire country. This article will be equally significant because it looks at the participation of the presidential administration to the wellbeing of children.

This study compares the works of literature and film conducted in Australia and South Africa where it examines how the concepts of culture and race are used to validate policies and theories of social constructs related to children’s welfare. It examines numerous studies conducted in both countries and concludes that Australia is better off in terms of policies and theories that address children’s welfare compared to South Africa. The fact that the study will look at how different governments in the world handle the issue of child welfare makes this article essential for the research paper.

This article looks at the issue of fertility rates in the US where it compares the situation as it was in 1920s and 1930s in relation to child health, child mortality, and poverty relief programs initiated by the government. The study was conducted in different cities across the US with the focus being on the US government intervention to control birth, still birth, and infant mortality rates. The findings indicate that government’s efforts to promote child life programs did not have massive effects on the fertility decline, infant mortality, and stillbirth. However, the study explains that the situation is quite different in the 21st century where government policies have ensured minimal infant and child mortality rates. This study will be equally significant in completing the research paper because it addresses pertinent issue in children’s welfare.
