HR BENEFITS MANAGER

Responsible for performing the day-to-day operations of leave and ADA requests, benefits programs, HR administration. Provide excellent customer service to our internal guests, vendors and business partners.

Essential Functions:

•Assist HR Leadership with administrative tasks

•Develop processes and Standard Operating Procedures for department

•Assist with projects, benefits plan and events

•Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations

•Assure timeliness and accuracy of required filings

•Coordinate daily benefit processing i.e. enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, claims, etc.

•Maintain team member files

•Run reports, compile and interpret data

•Works closely with team members to ensure that all relevant completed medical documentation is submitted for timely review

•Maintains appropriate contact with all team members on leave and coordinates all aspects of return to work for associates on leave

•Monitor eligibility for benefits programs and process enrollment information

•Conducts individual and group benefit enrollment orientations

•Monitor Personnel Action Forms and daily reports to determine changes in eligibility and processes changes and terminations accordingly

•Respond to team member inquiries

•Assist with office duties such as front desk, create agendas, schedule meetings and support leadership

•Other job-related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

•Strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

•Understand and comply with all Company and departmental rules, regulations, Policies, and procedures

•Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with team members

•Good organizational skills required

•Excellent communication skills

•Ability to perform basic math; read, write, and communicate verbally in English

•Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence; ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures; type 35 wpm

•Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, preferred

Education:

Bachelor degree preferred.

Experience:

Two (2) years leave, benefit administration experience.

Any appropriate combination of education and experience.
