Social media usage has several impact on both our lives and the business setting. Online platform have been integrated in various aspects of business and they have promoted business activity.in this case we will look at the platform being used by saruk electronics, how the social media has benefited saruk electronics. On the other side we will also look at the draw backs of the same social, the opportunities of using the social media as well risk factors with the usage of the social media in the business. Later there are recommendations that allows the enterprise to re-organize itself and make sure maximum profit margins are achieved through use of these online platforms.

Saruk uses Facebook as its primary platform to market and promotes its brands. Other online platforms are also used as supplemental platforms to facilitate the operations. Facebook according to the studies carried by different scholars’ has the highest number of user. Therefore being the most common platform and having the highest number of users makes it ideal for the business. This is the main reason why saruk uses it in various ways since of its popularity than other online platforms.

In this study we will closely look at the advantages and disadvantages of the social media on this enterprise the promotion strategies as well as the risk factors are some of the issues that are not separable from social media. Therefore to have a good idea of the social media these are among the factors that will be addressed and well up in coming up with the impact of the social media on this enterprise. Finally we also look how the face book as online platform has been used by this enterprise in facilitating its operations and the company can integrate other platforms in maximizing the profit margins of the business.

Strength

Online networking has many points of interest and organizations battle to locate the correct approach to utilize it. Therefore social media has been integrated in business operations which help them to have smooth running. Advantages are the strategies that the sectors ah used in adding value to these business operations and increasing the profit margins in a business. The most common platform in our case is the Facebook. Saruk electronics has majored its online presence through use of Facebook. Therefore there are advantages that as a result of the enterprise using Facebook as it’s a major online platform. These include;

From the above statements and various study carried out it is clear that Facebook is one of the online platforms that has the largest number of users globally. Saruk has created a page that has made the brands of the company to be advertised through this online platform.in this case reduces the cash that is used in advertising the brands of the company. Although cash is needed to maintain online presence, it is cheaper compared to other means of reaching the targeted market.it has led to increase in exposure making the small business firm to be at the same level with big firms. Therefore since the platform has many users the target market is reached at the same the time and therefore reducing the money spent of reaching each single person who is interested in the brands of the enterprise.

Distributions networks helps the company control costs and maintain its competitive advantage. Based on geographical location the social media helps to maintain focus on followers in your area. This helps the enterprise to maximize the profit margins by reducing the transport costs since these distributions networks allows you work within the geographical area. Saruk electronics should also involve the platform to advertise and market the brand of the enterprise which is an upcoming social media platform with large numbers of users. WhatsApp allows the entrepreneur to interact with their current clients and also acquiring new customers.it is also used to answer pre-sales queries of potential customers and also to provide valuable after-sales service. The social media also allows the business to offer online shopping. But in this case, proper strategies should be made to ensure there no inconveniences caused during shopping. Other competitors in Kenya such as jumia have offered better online shopping which have facilitated easy sales of the product. Therefore establishing a system that is credible allows the customers and to gain trust and therefore can purchase the brands any time without losing their money. This consequently boost the sales of the enterprise which on the other hand help to beat their competitors.

Controlled feedbacks also in some instances help to control the perception of people. When there is a negative response by the customers, it is negatively perceived by the potential buyers and this will influence their buying. Therefore the enterprise should come with strategies that will help to control the negative feedback by the consumers of the product. Negative remarks and encounters can be tended to and balanced – keeping clients upbeat and demonstrating potential customers that you give it a second thought.

When the platform are managed effectively by identifying the weaknesses of social platform, maximum profit can attained. These weaknesses involving how to solve the negative feedback of the customers and more sales through online shopping. Enlightened about the customers need through the use of social media also will help in provision of better services. Lot of care should also be put when dealing with these online platform to avoid intruders and hackers from accessing sensitive information of the company.
