I have essay 2 page MLA formate

Advance the issue from your reflective essay. Or, should you wish, develop an argument from the sources I provide on the issue of your reflective essay. Create an enthymeme. Defend your position to a general audience of intelligent but skeptical readers. Do not use sources outside of those provided by me without permission. Your essay must reference sources that address the history of the issue, that provide support for the enthymeme, and that challenge the enthymeme (opposing points of view).

Here are some general guidelines for an argument paper:

  • In your introduction, state your proposition clearly (Consider using an enthymeme statement . . . but without the ā€œIā€.). Be careful to avoid alienating readers who may be in initial disagreement with your views.

  • Strike a reasonable tone.

  • Develop your sub-arguments with specific and relevant evidence.

  • Attempt to refute opposing arguments--or at least explain why they are less weighty than your own arguments. Rebuttals, refutations, reservations, or reprehensions may also serve within the essay.

  • Where possible, build common ground with readers not inclined to agree with you.

  • Avoid common mistakes in reasoning.

  • Attribute source information using appropriate MLA in-text citation and include the source in the Works Cited page at the end of the paper.

  • Use academic style to write this essay.
