 Salary:  $65,000 to $75,000 per year

 

Work Schedule:  Full-Time (Monday – Friday)

 

Location:  Washington, DC

Responsibilities:  

The appointee will assist the Human Resource Manager with staffing for the organization by conducting interviews ensuring that the right people are hired, and they will be a fit for the organization. 

The appointee will be responsible for creating training schedules for all employees.  The appointee will develop training that will be conducive for the progression of the organization, such as work ethics, safety and security in the workplace, compensation and benefits, and employee relations. The new hires will also be train on policies and procedures. 

Appointee will research and evaluate training software programs to automate the administrative functions of the department and order training supplies and materials to enhance instruction program. 

Appointee will work with Human Resource Manager to ensure that the benefit package is appropriate for all employees. 

Qualifications: 

The appointee must meet qualification requirements in order to be considered for this position.  The qualifications are as follows: 

Education:

Appointee must have a bachelor’s degree with some courses in Human Resources

Experience:

Appointee must have 3+ years’ experience in working with Human Resource programs, experience providing guidance on multiple human resource programs and issues as they relates to different laws, and experience in writing correspondence such as disciplinary letters and grievance response’s, applying organizational policies as it relates to hiring, and implementing professional developmental programs. 

Strong Leadership and Communication Skills:

The appointee must be a strong confident decision-making individual who can be flexible in this process 

Background Check and Drug Testing: 

A background check will be conducted.  Drug testing is required.
