Introduction

As we have entered the 21st century the number of retail outlets is increasing day by day, the purpose of retail store is to provide wide numbers of products with reasonable services and prices to consumers . Retail business normally starts from purchasing products specially from markets or provider that gives discount at a volume markdown and they have price variation of the products that depends upon supply and demand. Our company Sears holding has long and organised documented history of good environment and sociality among customers. We establish our company in 1953, where it began serving the Canadian cost under the corporate of our company as Simpsons-Sears Ltd trutely defined as the Canada’s largest retailer(Global news,2017) . The motive of the company is to provide customers good value of satisfaction by the providing of good quality products and exceptional services. We earned an identity of trust by the good will of our employees, staff members working for the upliftment of our company. Our staff works on the feedback of customer reviews which makes a positive bond of trust among our customers. Our brand first started as Canadian mail arrange business in 1952, we offered family and design things. There was a partnership of our organization between the retail chain Simpsons Limited in Toronto and Sears Roebuck Co. of Chicago. We launched our first retail store in Ontario, Simpson - Sears opened a second outlet in Kamloops, BC, in 1953 and after a year later there was opening of our third store in vancouver. In 1978, Hudson’s Bay company obtained Simpsons and lot of the retail establishments were changed into The Bay, its lead store was in downtown Toronto. The Simpsons-Sears association was broken down, however in february 2009 Sears had to cut down 300 employments short of cash and a workforce at a time in order to get ready for extreme year in retail. We offered to lease our stores in prime location. In 2011, the CEO Calvin Mcdonald unexpectedly ventured down the retail outlets. In August 2016, Sears tried its best to rebrand its logo for the first time in 32 years, we made famous comedian-actor, Mike Myers our brand ambassador but due to recession in june 22, 2017 court security lead to loan losses and reported plans to shut down 59 outlets and 2900 employments. In july our sales flucated, there was a huge price variation of sales which lead to 20-50 per penny

Scope

This research about the retail outlet market share and gain growth for sears company ,and how to increase the profits and prevent closing stores and release employees . the purpose of this research is to explain the methods we could implement to gain new momentum in sales sector and how to reach new consumers and new products .

Solutions

It is hard to believe that company like sears facing problems with market share or profit ,but if company stores not updated or if there is shortage of employees to help the consumers in their shopping will let the consumers leave the store without paying anything . When the reward program is so complicated to deal with, the customers will not be loyal to the company or the brand . While online shopping is the fast and cheaper most of time .All mentioned are reasons for the decrease of sears market share and profit . so the solutions for these problems is by give more attention to the company store by upgrade it and do the maintenance that needed . and give employees more trainings related to customers services and consumers satisfactions . simplify the rewards program and make it more clear and simple to deal with . this will not totally reduce the effects of online shopping , but it will encourage the consumers to visit the sears store looking for better deals and good advice from experienced employees .
