  1. Go to the U.S. Census Bureau’s site on international demographic data: http://www.census.gov/ipc/www/idb/pyramids.html.

Once you are on the site, select the “Data” tab and then “International Data Base.”

Select Afghanistan and the United States, and under “Select Report” scroll down to “Population Pyramid.”
