Construction completion of the building shall be before 200 4. You have to get approval from the owner / the occupier for conducting your tasks. 1. Students are required to execute Desktop, Measured, C ondition and Dilapidation surveys for the residential building. This will require access to an appropriate case -study property. 2. Students should conduct desk -top survey, measured survey , condition survey and dilapidation survey for the residential building . 3. Identify and describe the defects in the building and reasons for the defects. Also specify remedial works to rectify . 4. Appraise the duty of care expected of a competent surveyor (legal responsibilities, etc. ) and the contractual relationship with other professionals in your property survey work 5. Students should conduct property evaluation of t he building . 6. Prepare a final report which includes all of the above tasks . 7. Necessary photographs with illustrations.
