Rough Draft

Imagine that there is a person who does not keep a balance between sleep and a healthy diet all through. Would you like to be such a person who does not care about his or her wellbeing? A healthy diet contributes greatly to a healthy life because for a young person to have a good sleep at night, he or she must start by having a balanced healthy diet (Boesveld, 2015). Many people who do not keep a balance between sleep and diet lead lives, which are cumbersome, unimportant as well as lives with aggression.

People have different perspectives as to what a healthy diet entails. According to Victoria (2019), a healthy diet should comprise various foods which are nutritious to allow sufficient intake of all nutrients, that is, proteins, Carbohydrates, Vitamins, fats, and minerals. These nutrients are contained in foods like pasta, bread, fish, lean meats, fruits, and vegetables. Fruits, vegetables, bread, cereals, and legumes should form the bulk part of a healthy human diet. Low-salt foods, sugary foods, and reduced-fat milk food together with other dairy products, should also be included in the diet. However, food containing salts and high sugar level should be consumed sparingly. By practicing healthy eating, one puts in check the body weight and maintains it at a desirable level. This reduces the chances of getting diet-related chronic diseases such as obesity, some cancers, type II diabetes, and Cardiovascular disease.

In addition to a healthy diet, there are other practices which enhance good health. It is good to note the importance of drinking water. The various advantages of water include strengthening muscles, helping the face to shine and glow. When a person takes a glass of water, he or she feels better since water makes a person active and robust. A person should have at least three meals a day. Sometimes people tend to skip breakfasts. Breakfasts are very healthy and important. In between the meals, it is advisable to take snacks to replenish the nutrients that have been broken down. Also, it is good to note that babies and children should have a closely monitored diet to enhance their health and wellbeing. Finally, alcohol drinking is common for many people. Intake of minerals is important to the body in that they are needed in bodybuilding and metabolic processes. Drinking of alcohol should be done in moderation since it has high energy. Children should not be given alcohol, and it is also not recommendable for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.

It is also good for young people to be involved in vigorous exercises. Physical exercises result in the burning of accumulated body fats. These exercises usually offer medical advantages like better disposition, more grounded bones and muscles, expanded vitality, and many more. Since yoga involves physical movements, it also helps in keeping body fit. Having enough sleep, eating a proper diet as well as being involved in physical exercises can help young people to lead a healthy life (Boesveld, 2015). Also, physical activities help to maintain a healthy life in that they help in reducing the likelihood of heart attack, they lower blood pressure, manage body weight, lowers chances of type 2 diabetes from occurring and even some other kinds of cancers (Physical activity - it's important, 2019). One feels better after an exercise. Physical exercises also reduce the risks of obesity.

People can exercise in different ways and with different schedules. Researchers recommend thirty minutes of moderate-intensity exercising every day. A good balance is required between the intake of food and exercise to ensure optimal gain of strength of muscles and healthy body weight. People exercise either by going to the gyms, running and jogging, swimming, among others. Also, as people carry on with their daily activities of them find themselves exercising. Such activities include cycling and walking. People should adopt these activities more instead of using motor vehicles every distance one is covering. Before anyone engages in rigorous exercise, one should be subjected to pre-exercise screening. The aim of this is for the identification of individuals with medical conditions which might expose them to higher risks of encountering a health problem during exercises. It is a check of whether the risks outweigh the potential advantages of exercising. This especially should be directed to people aged over 45 years. Besides the prevention of lifestyle diseases, regular exercises induce a healthier state of mind, thus treating depression. This is because it blocks negative thoughts and worries distraction, increases social contact, lifts the mood and sleeping patterns improvement, and adjusts the chemical level in the brain such as stress hormones, serotonin, and endorphins.

A good night sleep also contributes much to a healthy life. Sleep protects the physical health, mental health, safety, and quality of life of an individual. For example, a good night sleep helps in warding off heart diseases, it prevents diabetes, it slims a person down, it slows aging, it boosts immunity as well as making the skin to glow (Boesveld, 2015). Sleeping helps in brain functioning. When one falls asleep, the brain prepares for the next day. This improves the learning and remembering capabilities of an individual. For physical health, it allows for the repair of blood vessels and heart. This is why it is linked to reduced kidney disease, heart diseases, diabetes, stroke, and high blood pressure. Finally, sleep improves daytime performance and safety. This is because it boosts the reaction time, improves concentration, and reduces the chances of making mistakes.

In conclusion, in for good health, a proper diet, exercising, and good sleep are essential in humans. All the three are associated with a reduction in occurrences of lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular diseases. Each one of them has unique significances to the body. Also, there is interlinking between the three of them. For one to exercise appropriately, he/she need to observe a healthy diet. Then exercising improves the sleeping habit of an individual, especially those suffering from sleepless nights. In the long run, the good health of an individual is attained.
