For the Group Marketing Plan assignment, our group chose to prepare a marketing plan for Dental Office. A dental office falls under the services sector. So, much of the marketing strategy will be common with other services with some customization. In order to grow the practice and reach new customers, it is essential to have a sound marketing plan. Here are some important points in the marketing strategy (Faisal, 2016):

  1. Participate in community activities – 

      1. This is a must for every dental office. It is important to get involved in the community. This helps in a couple of ways, firstly, it will give us an opportunity to introduce ourselves and about our business. And also gives us an opportunity to know the most visited dental office.

    1. Community activities can be anything ranging from volunteering events, festivals, market fairs or simply any sports events, etc…

    2. This will give word of mouth publicity from contacts we made during this time. 

  1. Connecting through Social Media:

      1. Social media is an easy way for businesses to find customers and for customers to find a business (especially services). Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram are good places to start with. We can also build an online community to connect directly with all our clients and directly answer their queries etc...  

  1. Focus on Local SEO (Search engine optimization)

  1. This help dental business to reach target customers by optimizing search engine with keywords like dental, clinic and orthodontist.

  2. With new technologies that involve artificial intelligence and search using voice like google, siri or alexa capturing the customers that are looking for a dentist in that area can be done by SEO.

  1. Create a Strong, Well-Designed Site

  1. Always the first impression is the best impression, so it is very important for a dental clinic to have a well-designed with all the details in the website.

  2. Providing options like chat window, special offers, social network and contact information will gain confidence from customers that visit the website.

  1. Postcards & Mailed Offers: Dental office can promote their offers by mailing the flyers and can send postal cards for reminding patient’s six months recare.

  1. Appointment Reminders: Confirmation reminders like calls, emails or text messages for the would help the patient to maintain good hygiene.

  1. Newsletters: Newsletters are one of the old and good marketing strategies to follow and provides required information to the customers or patients. 

  2. Use Content Marketing to Offer Value

  3. Run AdWords Campaigns

  4. Remarketing Campaigns
