The author conducted a study to evaluate the relationship between bullying and adverse mental disorders and suicidality among adolescents in Australia. Close to 3500 adolescents were analyzed and results indicated that adolescents who experienced bullying had a increased risk of self-harm, suicidal ideation, and poor mental health outcomes. bullying should be stop because it cursing more death in the world, it create fear in the life of loved ones , and it must be stop.
The study explored mental health implications of observing bullying at school. This was a unique study because it considered the victims instead of the victim of the bully. In a school setting, bullying does not happen in a vacuum, there is always the victim, the bully and eyewitnesses. The study involved about 2000 students from 14 schools and the results demonstrated that those who observed bullying had a higher risk to mental health compared to the direct victims. This showed that bullying is a serious matter that affects the entire society and requires immediate attention.
Bullying can affect any person. However, children may be more vulnerable to the effects of bullying because it not only affects their perception of the world but also on our differences. Therefore, bullying on children has significant effects on the psychological and societal wellbeing of children and can cause mental health complications.
Bullying is a form of aggressive behavior towards another person with an intention to cause personal injury or discomfort. Such behavior makes the victim experience low esteem, anxiety, and stress which eventually lead to depression or any other mental disorder like agoraphobia and panic disorders
The people I want to persuade are students and colleagues in workplaces. School bullying occurs in an educational setting while workplace bullying occurs in a work environment. Bullying is so prevalent in schools that it has been clearly defined in legislation. However, workplace bullying is not common in most organizations and is experienced where the organizational culture allows it.
Delara conducted a study to investigate the aftermath of childhood bullying. Her study involved examining the adult life of various childhood bullying victims to determine how the experienced changed or affected their life in terms of the general health, mental health, and relationship issues. The study revealed that childhood bullying victims experienced lasting consequences in psychological and mental well-being, eating disorders, as well as trust issues in relationships. Feedback Reflection
Feedback from Writing Activity 2:
The outline is an important step in any writing activity; as the model shows, it is made up of short phrases, not sentences, arranged in the order of the essay. The order is determined by the thesis statement. Please see the model, ch. 4.7. You will want to develop 2-5 paragraphs per supporting point leading to the final paper of 8-12 pages. You have a good start to the thesis statement. However, your thesis statement might not contain the three required elements: the topic, the writer's position on the topic, or the three supporting points. Remember, the thesis statement is one sentence, guides the essay, tells the reader what to expect, and determines the organization of the essay. In addition, check grammar and parallel structure. Review the webtext, ch. 4.8, and the announcements in the course shell and see https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/general_writing/mechanics/parallel_structure.html Unfortunately, you have not submitted the starting draft. The paragraphs for the starting draft that are to be submitted here are the first two paragraphs of the essay, the introduction with the thesis statement at the last sentence or second to last sentence of the introduction, and the second paragraph is to be the body paragraph immediately following the introduction. Please review the webtext, ch. 5.7, and information in the announcements.
