1) Suppose that there are four color wafers in a bag containing 60 wafers. 15 of these are green, 12 are red, 11 ore orange and the rest are purple. You select 25 wafers from the bag without replacement. Find the probability that 7 will be green, 5 red, 9 purple and the rest orange.

2) You make a machine that automatically gets you yogurt from the fridge. It works correctly 63% of the time. If you try the machine 40 times, find the probability that it will get the yogurt correctly exactly 17 times.

3) Suppose in problem number one you only care about the number of green wafers. Find the probability that you get exactly 7 green out of 25 wafers.

4) Find mu and sigma for problem number 2.

1) You know that the weight of a three-toed sloth is N( 15, 2 ) in pounds. You win a sloth which will be mailed to you by amazon. How big will your sloth have to be in order to be bigger than 20% of all sloths?

2) Suppose that your sloth weighs 17.4 pounds. What percentage of sloths weigh less than your sloth.

3) Suppose that you win 5 three toed sloths. How much will your sloths have to weigh on the average in order to outweigh 80% of all sloths?

4) Suppose that your sloths weigh and average of 14 pounds. What percentage of other groups of 5 sloths are your sloths heavier than.

5) You plant some sweet pea plants who are known to grow red flowers 25% of the time. You grow 100 plants and each plant grows one flower. Find the probability that you will get at least 26% of you flowers to be red.
