The organization's mission is to promote workplaces and people by enhancing Human Resources and increasing the potential of human beings. Their purpose is to empower professional Human Resource and vision of work across the world.

The conference was known as Talent exposition 2020, which was held online. The speakers included David Scott, Nick Schacht, who is the Chief Global Development Officer in the Society Human Resource for Management, Matthew Luhn, and the president and C.E.O Johnny C Taylor (SHRM, 2020).

The conference was about talent. They discussed new ways of recruiting talent and enhancing the competition. They discussed new imaging technology that will help the organization to have the best resources (SHRM, 2020). They particularly cited various imaging techniques that can be incorporated into the new world to bring about change and change the nature of organizations across the world.

They also discussed new ways through which they will help the future workforce, especially when recruiting workers that are having new talent but not those that have existed in various companies over time. The conference also encompassed the topic of networking. There were talks on how organizations and companies can connect with the best talent in the world and also have markets that are reliable for a potential client (SHRM, 2020). The organization is also helping companies to work with people across all races regardless of their color so that they can accumulate the best talents that can help the company.

The company specifically assessed how networks could be built and created within organizations. One of the primary areas that were discussed in this topic is how to gather a set of recruiters in a working space. Also, there was a sensitization on the need to connect with people within one industry through networking groups and chat rooms that are open. All of the above was cited as the hallmark for meaningful connections (SHRM, 2020). The president and also the C.E.O of Society for Human Resource Management concluded by adding that the talent search landscape has changed significantly over the years, and they look forward to the future.

I learned important aspects of this conference. Key amongst them was on how to build meaningful connections. I realized the need to connect and build lasting relations with those that we are working together in the industry. I also recognized the need to identify, work on, and improve on our talents, since they are critical in making the world a better place. I realized that organizations are constantly looking for the best talents in different fields, and it is therefore pivotal to always utilize, work on, and improve on our God-given talents. Finally, I am grateful to the company for augmenting my knowledge on a number of subjects, and I will constantly lookout for more conferences in the future.
