TP Safety Committee (Who) shall conduct a “Pick Up Litter” competition (What) at the Tampines Reservoir (Where) aiming at 100 year 1 IFM Students (Attainable) on the 10th of January 2021 (Realistic), trying to improve their awareness (why) about sustainable environment. Aims to improve student’s awareness by 30 percent (30 students out of 100 students (Attainable) from taking a e- survey quiz

Programme

Top 3 classes of the competition will get a prize (Iphone 12) from the school.

  1. EG: To Resolve this problem: Bags are left unattended on stairs in TP Sports Hall causing trip and fall

Objective

TP Safety Committee shall conduct a “Fall Prevention Song” competition of Canteen on 10th of July 2021 to increase 100 IFM Students awareness by 30% that bags are left at the Canteen B stair which cause other people walking by to trip and fall.

  1. Title: Photography contest theme spotting fire hazard

Problem: There is an increase of flammable objects catching fire around TP Campus. These areas has regular fire inspections conducted hourly with corrective actions to remove the flammable materials found during inspections. However, the campus is big and some fire hazards are missed by inspectors and left unchecked.

For behavioural safety is assuming all RA and physical controls measure are done. To create safety mindset, we must resolve an unsafe behaviour hazard in case study by

  • Setting an appropriate WSH Objective

  • Develop an effective WSH Programme

  • Make a programme schedule to assign tasks

Objective

TP Safety committee will conduct a “Spot the Fire Hazard” Photography contest on 31 July 2020 for 300 IFM students to improve the awareness of IFM Students from 10% (30 Students) to 50% (150 Students) about flammable materials around campus

Programme

A Photography contest for 300 IFM Students from TP will be held at TP Garden on the 30 Aug 2020 from 10am to 5pm. Students who photograph actual fire hazard (e.g stack newspapers, dried leaves, unstored paint cans, missing fire extinguisher). Students must submit the entries through the TP Hazard reporting app by 4pm. Winner will be selected and the winning entries will be screened on the big screen in the horse shoe. Entries with more than 20 photos will be given a consolation prize of $10. Overall winner get Iphone 12.
