Professor Evaluation of Community Project Draft
You have submitted a draft and the expectations are lower for a draft version as opposed to the final Project. Subsequently, this evaluation will give you some general information about your Project. A good score on your draft does not necessarily mean you will get a good score on your final Project. Your final submission next week will be evaluated using a more detailed grading rubric.
Content Areas: (70 points)
All four areas of the Community Project are addressed in a detailed manner. These areas are the community description & stakeholders, the need, the plan, and the assessment sections. Research into your community including the stakeholders and your Project need is evident. (60-70 points)
Most of the four areas of the Community Project are covered with a reasonable amount of detail. (50-60)
Two of the areas of the Community Project are not covered or in a minimal way. (35-50)
There are three or more areas of the Community Project are missing. (0-35)
Writing and Organization: (30 points)
There are writing style and/or organizational issues but those are issues expected with a draft proposal. The introduction and conclusion may not be evident at this stage, but they do need to be included in the final paper. (25-30)
There are writing style and/or organizational issues in at least one section regarding the writing and/or organization that start to interfere with readability. (20-25)
There are writing style and/or organizational issues with multiple sections regarding the writing and/or organization that interfere with reviewer's ability to comment on the draft. (15-20)
The writing style and/or organizational issues associated with the writing and/or organization significantly inhibit the ability of the reviewer to comment on the substance of the project. (0-15)
