Option 1: Selection of a Multinational Organization

The multinational organization I decided to focus on for my portfolio project would be Pepsi Co. There are various reasons why I chose to focus on Pepsi Co. for my final portfolio project. PepsiCo. is a portion of American food business and one of the top multinational organization around the world. PepsiCo. is adored around the world, and many people purchase their products and consume their products and allow PepsiCo. to rank which the top for being one of the best multinational organizations (Muzumdar, 2014, p. 7). PepsiCo. explore various opportunities for their company to continue to expand and grow within the food and beverage industry, which allows them to continue to keep up the reputation they receive from others, this past year alone PepsiCo hired over 6,000 new workers that were laid off or furloughed due to the pandemic and provided them with secure jobs (Danley, 2020). . The company's mission and company culture continue to be one of the best mission statement and company cultures and even shows how PepsiCo. adopts new values for equality and socially responsible (Danley, 2020). As a company, their mission statement was to focus on "Performance with Purpose," which allows the CEOs of PepsiCo. To combine the two things that define what they do as a growing business and will enable them to achieve such an excellent reputation and ranking for their organization (Kish et al., 2001, p. 93). PepsiCo been in the industry since 1985 and continues to grow and achieve a high ranking for its company, and that is why I chose to focus on PepsiCo. for my portfolio project.
