The world has paused, and the mother earth is resting for a while now in the effect of COVID-19. The effect has impacted every person and the governments and particularly the small business owners from providing their services to the people around the world. However, “Life Must Go on”. Keeping this in effect maintaining one’s home or auto-care and Beauty is every person daily need and not a luxury anymore. As the world has paused with strict restrictions of business being closed for several months few home services or personal needs have come to a halt. Hence, we would like to bring up our company to help the people run their business by providing services at affordable prices in the comfort of our clients’ space.

Moonwalk Services is a company located in Vancouver, Canada BC. Offering the most affordable and best quality of home-based services. This company prioritizes on the quality of the services it offers to the customers. To meet this, the company has a complex and varied combination of a workforce with the required skills, knowledge, and expertise. Additionally, the company values the safety of the customers and offers value for their money.

Initiation of Moonwalk Services

Moonwalk Services is a new company that deals with house services starting its business in Vancouver, Canada BC. According to James Langton (2020), there is a large population in Vancouver city that has risen in the recent times and also from the effect of Covid-19 containment measures, offering house services is a viable business opportunity that is not fully tapped. Additionally, offering such services can make the customers live a free lifestyle without limits by getting access to their daily lifestyle. These services can be booked through online platform with different payment options. Moonwalk Services include Salon services for women/men, painters, plumbers, electricians, tutors, professional and affordable health/well-being, auto-care, and home cleaning services etc. The company also ensures safety measures are taken while offering services and keeping COVID-19 in thoughts employees will be checked thoroughly before delivering the service at any client location. This helps in improving the efficacy of service delivery.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, many businesses have been affected. This is because; most of the countries have placed lockdown measures restricting people to stay indoors. As a result, Vancouver, and Canada in general has experienced demand outpaced supply in most of the house-based services. According to the market study conducted by James Langton (2020). In another case, Saskatoon (2020), adds that people have been forced to work remotely in the outlying areas of Vancouver. Besides, the company wishes to meet the needs of the fast-growing population and ensure that Vancouver remains a vibrant and diverse city (Deb, et al., 2019). Hence our company has therefore come in time to supply these people with house services that they require.

Moonwalk Services is in Vancouver, Canada. Its Target market is majorly the large population of Vancouver and its surrounding areas. However, the company will work on extending its services in other parts of Canada in near future. The reason of choosing Vancouver as the target market is that there is no other existing home service, on demand in here. People are very much fascinating in this regard as they have many choices at affordable prices, so the quality of the business should measure. (Frapporti, 2019).

  • Vancouver has the largest economic zone and the customer demand exclusive service, our company’s target to service everything at home as the people have no time to search the service in various platform and we provide all the service in one platform.

  • Moonwalk Services can help to build the competitive market that will help us to contribute a lot as well as increase the market share.

  • Canadian market competitor can give us the chance to explore our business and we believe we are able to achieve the customer’s trust.

For a successful service and products offering, Moonwalk Services company has laid down ways of building a perfect and working marketing mix, as shown below.

Price: The company aims to offering its services at affordable prices and ensure the needs of the customers are met within their budget (Singh, 53). Besides, the prices are customer sensitive, and some discounts will be offered to regular clients.

Place: Moonwalk Services Company is mainly found in Vancouver, Canada. Besides, the company has an online booking platform and delivery of services is made phsychically at places that are convenient to the customers in and around Vancouver (Saskatoon, 2020). According to James (2020), the COVID 19 pandemic has restricted people indoors; therefore our company will be helping the customers to book the services online without making unnecessary travels.

Product/ service: Moonwalk Services considers the fact that customers need value for their money. As a result, the company offers a variety of services from salon at home for men and women respectively, professional bathroom washing, appliances repair and services, plumbing and carpentry. Moonwalk Services is, therefore, there to meet most of the house services and products need just under one roof. The company has a various combination of professional experts offering different services in their areas of specialization.

Promotion: Moonwalk Services has incorporated the use of modern technology for marketing its services. The company has an online platform where new services are advertised and displayed along with promotions and seasonal offers. The company also uses direct mailshots to keep on updating the regular clients on any changes in prices, the arrival of new services, among other relevant information.
